Denisa Langrová
Denisa Langrová (b. 1996) is a visual artist and filmmaker. She completed her bachelor’s studies at UMPRUM in the Sculpture Studio of Edith Jeřábková and Dominik Lang and is continuing her master’s studies in the Fine Art Studio III of Dominik Gajarský and Michal Pěchouček at UMPRUM.
She makes narrative videos and video essays. Her concepts draw on ecofeminist theory, environmental studies, and non-binary and interspecies frameworks — she is interested in the intersection of the stories of humans and other animals, the concept of domestication, and personal human experience in the crisis of global capitalism.
At the 11th edition of UFF (2021), her film was screened at Kino Družba as part of the Sunday film program.
