Imrich Veber (b. 1987, Vítkov) is a visual artist living in Opava. He studied art history at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University Olomouc and the Institute of Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava. He practices unstaged social photography, seeking to capture raw reality, and considers himself more of a documentarian. His work deals with space, conditions and the society in which he lives, examining the existing system of values and power. Since 2014 he has worked as an assistant at the photography studio of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Ostrava.
