Doc. MgA. Pavel Kopřiva, Ph.D. (b. 1968, Duchcov) is a conceptual artist living in Kamenický Šenov and Prague. He studied jewelry making at the secondary school of applied arts (SUPŠ) in Jablonec nad Nisou, glass at VŠUP in Prague under Jiří Harcuba, and intermedia art under Adéla Matasová. His work links glass and new media. In 1996 he represented the Czech Republic at Manifesta 1 in Rotterdam. He heads the Interactive Media Studio at FUD UJEP in Ústí nad Labem and is director of the secondary school of glassmaking (SUPŠ sklářská) in Kamenický Šenov.
