Šimon Sýkora
Šimon Sýkora (b. 1990, Plzeň) is a Czech painter and performer. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2019) and completed study stays in Bucharest and Taipei. His paintings are marked by a fusion of abstraction and figurative motifs, an unsettling dark visuality, and psychological aspects—especially melancholy. In his videos, by contrast, he works with public space.
