Exhibition: (c) merry: Krmelec
The site-specific installation Krmelec (Feeding Rack) by (c) merry (Marie Meixnerová) was presented at the 9th edition of Fotofestival Uničov, themed Kostka cukru (Sugar Cube). The public-space installation was located on Masarykovo náměstí by the Neptune Fountain and opened on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 20:00.
About the author
Marie Meixnerová, who works under the artist name (c) merry, is a visual artist, curator, and researcher focused on internet art. She studied English and film studies at Palacký University Olomouc, where she is continuing her doctoral studies in the intermedia studio of the Department of Art Education. Her work includes YouTube-based art projects, interventions, site-specific installations, and performances both online and offline. Since 2012 she has been program manager of the PAF festival in Olomouc, and she is co-curator of Screen Saver Gallery.
