About the author
Dominik Gajarský (b. 1986) is a Czech intermedia artist. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in Anna Daučíková’s New Media Studio and, before that, multimedia at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, University of West Bohemia in Plzeň. He expresses himself primarily through text, sound, and the moving image; formally, his work often refers to modernist models and critically examines the canon and hegemony of Western culture. In 2014 he was a finalist for the Leinemann Foundation Award, and in 2017 a finalist for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award. He lives and works in Prague.
