Exhibition: Jan Jindra: Chalupáři (1985)
The exhibition Chalupáři (1985) (Cottagers) by Jan Jindra (lecturer at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, Tomas Bata University in Zlín) was presented at the 7th edition of Fotofestival Uničov. A series of photographs capturing the emptying of Prague so characteristic of the period, made while the author was studying at FAMU. The public-space exhibition was installed in Výloha bývalé Fotografie (Školní 168) and opened on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 15:30.
About the author
Jan Jindra (b. 1962) teaches in the Advertising Photography Studio at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, Tomas Bata University in Zlín (FMK UTB). At the festival he presented a series of photographs capturing the depopulation of Prague characteristic of its time. The photographs were taken while the author was studying at FAMU in Prague.
