Exhibition: Marek Tischler: Lepšího já

About the author
Marek Tischler is a Czech visual artist and a graduate of the Studio of Intermedia Confrontation at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). In his practice he works with drawing, collage, and installation. His exhibition projects include “Perly leží na dosah” (Pearls Lie Within Reach) at Galerie OFF/FORMAT in Brno (2018) and “Lepšího já” (Of a Better Self) at Galerie Měsíc ve dne in České Budějovice (2019). His work explores themes of masculinity, performativity, and physical strength, while extracting elements of intimacy, fragility, and the everyday from his material.
