Exhibition: Michaela Kuříková: Kousky a chvilky
The exhibition Kousky a chvilky (Pieces and Moments) by Michaela Kuříková was presented at the 6th edition of Fotofestival Uničov, themed Fotografie jako předobraz (Photography as Prefiguration). The exhibition — using collage and drawing to uncover the (un)important ties between the whole and its individual parts as a reflection on the tangle of visual information — took place at New Teta Gallery (Dr. Beneše 89) and opened on Friday, May 13, 2016, at 19:00 (together with a performance by Oldřich Bystřický).

Through collage and drawing, Michaela Kuříková (b. 1982) uncovers the (un)important relationships between a whole and its individual parts. Her work reflects the general effort to find one’s bearings in the tangle of visual information and stimuli to which we are exposed every day.
