About the authors
Matej Chrenka is a photographer who studied at the Studio of Advertising Photography of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. His work moves within two main thematic areas: under the heading “Limits of Photography” he deals with photography as a medium, and in the second area he asks whether it still makes sense to take photographs at all. He is not afraid to partly leave photography behind for other media such as painting, objects, or video, but he sees photography as his starting point and creative material.
Patrik Fica is a Slovak photographer and a graduate of the Studio of Advertising Photography. In his bachelor’s thesis (2023) he focused on concert photography and documenting the underground music scene—capturing both performers and audiences at concerts, festivals, and in club settings.
