Pavel Sterec is a Czech conceptual artist who combines performance, object, installation, photography, and other media in his work. He addresses themes of research, science, museums and archives, social structures, and our dependence on material or symbolic capital. He belongs to a generation of artists who express themselves through the social environment and experiment with small forms of social engineering as an artistic method.
