Exhibition: Philipp Kolychev
The site-specific installation by Philipp Kolychev was presented at the 11th edition of UFF in Uničov, themed damn plan. Located in public space at the bus stop by the cemetery, the exhibition opened on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 18:00 and was complemented by a guided tour on Saturday, July 17, at 12:30.
About the author
Philipp Kolychev (b. 1991) studied in the new media studios of Anna Daučíková and Tomáš Svoboda at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He is a new media artist focusing on video installations that satirize sociopolitical issues. He works mainly with the moving image, textile prints, and objects, using humor as his main tool of communication. His projects include “Rentoid Sanctuary,” which deals with anxieties related to housing and the financialization of real estate.
