About the author
Tereza Darmovzalová (b. 1990) is a visual artist working with drawing, photography, video, and installation. She studied art history at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc, later passed through the studios of Alexandra Vajd, Michal Pěchouček, and Jiří Thýn at AVU Scholastika, and graduated from Tomáš Vaněk’s Intermedia Studio III.
Her work deals with the links between plant growth, technological progress, and the culture of work under capitalism, with sadness as a universal human condition, and with forichtungy (makeshift contraptions) as improvised disruptions of self-organization.
At the 11th edition of UFF (2021), her film was screened at Kino Družba as part of the Sunday film program.
