Václav Magid
Václav Magid (b. 1979, Leningrad) is a Czech artist, art theorist, curator, and bass guitarist living in Prague. He studied at AVU in the studios of Zdeněk Beran and Jiří David, and philosophy and aesthetics at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Since 2006 he has worked as a researcher and lecturer at AVU, and from 2007 to 2018 he headed the editorial board of the journal Sešit pro umění, teorii a příbuzné zóny (Notebook for Art, Theory and Related Zones).
