Jiří Ptáček (b. 1975, Prague) is a curator, critic, journalist and educator. He studied art theory and history at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University Olomouc. From 2012 to 2021 he was the curator of Fotograf Gallery in Prague. In 2015 he received the Věra Jirousová Award for art criticism.
Václav Stratil was born in Olomouc, and in the 1980s his studio was the center of the unofficial art scene of the time. Together with Vladimír Havlík, he is one of the figures closely tied to the Olomouc art scene. The strong retrospective tension in his current work unfolds in collaboration with other artists.
