Exhibition: Vendula Knopová: Výchovný tutorial
The exhibition Výchovný tutorial (A Parenting Tutorial) by Vendula Knopová (Studio of Advertising Photography in Zlín) was presented at the 5th edition of Fotofestival Uničov, themed Mísení žánrů (Mixing Genres). The exhibition — a best-of from my mom’s hard drive, with ironic scenes from the artist’s childhood — took place at Teta gallery (Šternberská 498) and opened on Friday, May 1, 2015, at 18:00.
About the author
Vendula Knopová studied at the Studio of Advertising Photography in Zlín. She regularly returns to her family with her camera. And perhaps whenever she takes photographs, she returns to childhood. From there she brings to light ironic scenes, absurd notions, silly little things, crazy children’s games with their own rules that are so awesome you need to play them for at least ten hours straight.
