Opening: Radek Čák

Radek Čák (b. 1982, Brno) is an illustrator and visual artist. His work draws on the forms of historical avant-garde movements, especially Surrealism — on relatively small paper formats he combines expressive action painting (mainly dripping) with meticulously drawn details. He heads the installation team at the Brno House of Arts and has a long-standing interest in recycling artistic techniques and photographic image residues.
