Thea Chatrná is an artist working in the Textile Design Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). In her work she focuses on unconventional local plant sources labeled as invasive or weeds, and explores the possibilities of using them in textile work. She collaborates with Františka Benčáťová, among others, on exhibition projects combining textile and paper.
