SHELTER

The 10th edition of Fotofestival Uničov presents the diverse (and often extreme) relationship of the individual to the space they live in and to the architecture they inhabit.

What kind of shelter do we choose in life; under what kind are we forced to survive? How do we adapt this environment to our needs; how does this environment shape our lives? And where do we find ourselves; where do we find the peace and safety for inner reflection — in a foreign country, on a journey into the unknown, in a hotel room, in a garden plot on the edge of town, or at the foot of the cliffs?

At the festival, the theme of searching for shelter in life is represented not only by photography, but also by painting, objects, installations, film screenings and talks.
